Before you insert the SD card reader, check that the memory card is facing the right way. If you have trouble transferring photos or videos, make sure the memory card is fully inserted into the micro SD card USB adapter. Try disconnecting the SD card reader from the memory card, then reconnect and test again. If your camera viewer shows a message about the data cable or accessories, there may be a loose connection. Unplug and reinsert the cable. If the problem continues, use a cotton swab with a little alcohol to clean the inside of your iPad or iPhone socket. The SD/TF card reader USB adapter works with standard photo formats like JPEG and RAW, as well as SD and HD video formats. It supports all iOS devices with iOS 13 or later, OTG Android phones, computers, and other devices with a USB port. The USB-c male port did not work on first one I received. It was promptly replaced. The second one has the same problem. I decided to keep it because it is still useful.

Handy for transferring files
I got this 5 in 1 memory card reader for my camera gear and it’s been a huge help. It’s super compact so I just keep it in my laptop bag and always have it handy. It reads multiple card formats which saves me from carrying different adapters. Transfer speeds are fast and reliable making photo dumps painless after a long day of shooting. The plug and play setup worked instantly with my laptop no drivers or software needed. For the size and price it’s been a great little upgrade. Highly recommend if you want a simple way to handle multiple memory cards.

Too Bad… So Sad! I wish it had worked.
Be careful what you wish for. I had high hopes that this unit would work as well as my other card reader does but now with more connectivity. I too also had some random disconnect issues where my device would show that the file or location had “disappeared”, requiring me to unplug and plug it in again. I was able to correct this problem by using 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean the exposed contacts of the lightning connector. Solved the problem but my main issue is that it will not maintain the charge on my iPad Pro while being connected to the adapter. The input lightning connector on the reader is used for a charge pass-thru to your device while it is connected and transferring data. I have tried many times using different charging cables but none work to maintain my iPad Pro. My 2 other devices, iPhone 13 Pro max and my 9th generation iPad Air do accept the charge while moving data. This alone makes it a return for me but also the transfer speeds are piss-poor and I too also had a Micro TF card slip above its slot and disappear into the unit Fortunately, I was able to slap it on my hand enough to get a tweezer grip on it and pull it back out. Wheeew! Lucky!I will be starting my return process today and I will be purchasing an adapter for my existing card reader so that I can continue using my iPad Pro with it.

Works great but be careful!
The product works great but be careful inserting a small SD card as it can get wedged in between the spaces and can damage your card or be hard to retrieve.

Avevo gia a vuto modo di acquistare dei lettori per il mio iphone XS ma riscontravo sempre delle disconnessioni improvvise dei dispositivi. Questo funziona perfettamente e lo trova anche veloce. non lo uso tantissimo ma mi da l’impressione di essere rubusto. acquisto consigliato. L’ho testato anche con huawei p20 e funziona perfettamente anche su quello.
